Tshepiso is a self-taught collage artist with an educational background in psychology, linguistics, and research. Hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa, her artistic journey has been marked by a deep passion and unwavering commitment to storytelling through the art of collage. Tshepiso’s work is rooted in the past and in the present, intertwining threads of baroque and African history with contemporary themes. Her artistic process is a blend of meticulous planning and spontaneous intuition.

Tshepiso has been featured in publications such as South Africa’s Mail and Guardian, OkayAfrica, Creative Feel, and the British Journal of Photography. She’s also part of the Photographic Collective, a network of African photographers started by curator and researcher Julie Bonzon.
